Previously I have discussed the knee stretching for preventing and treating knee injuries and knee pain. And know I will discussed about stretching for calf muscle. Calf muscle is important to us, and many of them depend on when we practice. While we stand, put our weight directly on the soles of our feet, but when we go jogging or we enjoy all forms of cardiovascular exercise, then felt the importance of a strong calf muscles. This is the reason why one form or another of the calf exercise important. But while exercise is important, you also stretch your calves. To help stretch before and after exercise to relax the muscles and to prevent dragging out places. So we will do our best when we know what some of calf muscle stretching.
Stretching Calf Muscles
There is always the right way and a wrong way to do something. We show you the right way, Ready to stretch out your calf muscles after strength training?
A. Stretching the calf – gastrocnemius (calf out)
Stretching the calf was carried out.
1. Sitting on the floor and keep both legs straight.
2. Now grab the rope and loop it around the foot (the ball).
3. Hold both ends of the rope.
4. Now go back to the ankle to flex and point your finger at the knees.
5. Now pull the rope until you feel a stretch.
6. Repeat on the other foot.
B. Stretching your calves – gastrocnemius (calf out)
This is one of the calf stretch, that helps.
1. Facing the wall with 12 cm distance between the wall and you.
2. Now take the left leg straight behind you so your left knee straight.
3. Both feet should be flat on the floor.
4. Now back to the wall until you can feel the tension in the left leg calf muscles.
5. Put your arm on the wall, if you need additional assistance.
6. Stay in this position for 10-15 seconds.
